the issue with the cameras is not the cameras itself...he had the right idea. The issue was that he did just an executive action solely on cameras :mjlol:

We could add more to that like saying cops who are found to not have it on are subjected to termination of employment.......
The cops could easily block the camera lens when shyt goes down and then come up with an excuse to why the view was blocked. The cameras is a good idea but not the main solution

I was also out there. After the bridge though, me and my girl went away from the crowd so we didn;t experience the Jay street incident. I have to say though, there were a loooooooooot if non-black folks marching out there.

Yeah, at Foley, 75% of those there were non-black.

FYI there are tons of Black American expats in Africa and have been for awhile

:heh: @ nikkas thinking they are radical. You are going to have to fight anywhere you go.

Rather fight where you are the majority.

And for those wondering:

According to the Association of American Residents Overseas (AARO), which relies on figures from the U.S. government among other sources, there are currently about 90,000 Americans living in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Cops have too much power in this country. Nobody should be able to do what that cop did to Eric Garner without at least catching a manslaughter charge even if the cop didn't mean to kill, or murder charges if the intent was there.

It's not right the way a lot of black people receive brutalization from cops, and I am certain if the police treated whites the same the system would change a lot sooner than it will right now. That's not right, and I'm sorry.

I hope that at least there's some positive interactions with white people out there to offset a little of that justified anger at the systems in place. But be aware that right now this is a war for public opinion. Acts of violence or expressions of blanket hatred plays right into the opponent's hand. Starve the enemy, if you can.

DOG WHAT UP WITH YOU DUMMB ASSES MAKING UP RULES, THAT SHYT DONT MAKE ANY SENSE! GAWD YALL SO DAMN STUPID!

while the pig who killed eric is certainly at fault and should be in prison, lets not forget that the politicians have blood on their hands too. Their insanely high cigarette taxes (which disproportionately target minorities and the poor) are the reason a black market even existed in the first place
YEp, a politician pushed through a sin tax that raises the price of cigarettes to a ridiculous level which in turn creates a black market for cheaper cigarettes. So another politician pushes a law through that a victimless crime like selling loosies is a priority (because all this country really cares about is getting their tax money) which then ends up resulting in 6 cops being sent out to enforce "the law" and a man ends up dead.

lol putting cameras on police is pointless and will only serve to as another police tool against the citizens.

Repatriation to Africa isn't some cool/in thing breh. Black leaders in this country have been telling black folks to consider Africa for centuries. It's the only solution that will actually help in my opinion because living around these people we'll never safe.

And you dudes keep talking about not leaving because you're fighting back is bullshyt. We're not fighting nothing. We live our lives waiting for someone else to come and save us because we don't want to save ourselves. It's why we keep talking about someone else should step in (Bane, God, Obama, DOJ, some other African nation etc).

I'd love to see dudes actually start fighting back and living their lives in such a manner, but I don't see it happening.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Patrick Lynch is the devil incarnate. "The police and EMTs did their jobs correctly"

WHY can't somebody pick him off?
He is a huge piece of shyt.
There is a way to be supportive of the people you represent without being a soulless a$$hole who callously dismisses a man's death while still playing the indignant victim card.

The thing about going to Africa is...it might work out well on an individual level, but leaving for Africa isn't an option for most of the 39 million black people in the country.

There's not going to be some mass migration where all or even a lot of black people in America immigrate to Africa...that's just not remotely realistic. So it's really not any type of solution.

Going back to Africa can be a solution, just like staying here can be a solution, but I honestly don't think black people are willing to the work for either scenario.

The masses of our people are like zombies on the walking dead, aimlessly going through life. We don't live our lives we're under attack. Even when you bring up basic shyt to people like supporting black businesses, they'll hit you with 100 different reasons why you shouldn't do it.

I'm not sure what will wake us up to be honest.

i think cigarettes should be illegal so i don't mind a high tax on something that kills people and is a waste of money. I don't feel like anyone is "victimized" by a cigarette law. Just don't by cigarettes and don't be selling them buy the singles to people who can't afford 2 pay billsyet they got change for a 5 minute buzz.

Erica Garner (his daughter) was just on CNN. She said that she didnt really think this was a race issue :snoop:
she said it was about the cop's ego :why:

thats the last thing these cacs and c00ns needed to hear. :snoop:
she is...let's say...unsophisticated (or on the payola)
the tv loves unsophisticated people (and people on the payola)

dude...the police brass and officials lie non-stop, they don't even know any other modus operandi but spin, it's like it makes them feel smarter or something. They are worse than attorneys, it's almost comical.
