@CopiousX Deserves a new educational thread. Class is is session:

Additionally, the current gdp per capita is not$7,343 but is actually closer to $2,000 based on the link you yourself provided. So even if this magical quadrupling occured, it would land you right back into the middle income trap of 8,000 ish.

Nothing magical about it. Its basic math. You just have no idea how it works.

The $7303 GDP is 100% accurate as I used PPP figures which stands for purchasing power parity. That means the income level is computed in comparable US dollars. Oh and cost of living and inflation is already factored into PPP calculations.

You’ve got to do better than this.:hhh:

But it does not account for the middle income trap which has most non-white nations trapped at 12k or so in gdp per capita. The only nations to beat the trap(except for Uruguay and argentina) have been the asian-western puppet states.

Litterally pulling this out just to make your arguments work. Except, nah.

More than a few countries in sub Saharan Africa such as Mauritius ($25,029), Boswana ($18,654) and Gabon ($18,647) all have high GDP per capita incomes, none of them qualify as western “puppet states”. Gabon and Botswana are litterally 99% black countries.

Your own link mentions the causes of the middle income trap, none of those causes have anything to do with race or even politics.

In short, zero reason to believe the so called middle income trap applies to Ghana.

You cannot hand the fiat dealer $2000 for a $10,000 viehcle. This is the advantage of the average fba/ados whose salary of 22k will actually buy 22k worth of cars, tractors, turbines, and nation building equipment.

And you don’t have to. Even in high income countries like the US most people buy cars, tractors etc on credit. Moots you’re whole argument about giving $2000 for a $10000 car.

Furthermore with a lower cost of living you can more easily afford debt payments.

I'm all for continental African growth, but can we at least get the numbers straight?

You don’t care at all about Africa. You just want to argue and defend your tribe (ADOS)

Numbers are fine. You just don’t really understand what you’re seeing in front of you.:manny:
