Just so y'all know, the story behind this is that it was a protest scheduled in the nice suburb of Coral Gables (home of The U). It was circulated widely on social media, and then widely disowned by all reputable community groups. They said it was CAC led, it was out in the burbs as a distraction, they invited police representatives from all over the region, which made everybody, etc


So this farce is what went down over there, while a few miles away in downtown Miami, cops in riot gear (after the mayor promised no riot gear earlier that day) shot rubber bullets and tear gas canisters.

I’m not that old but bruh I’ve been caught with open beers in the car and running stop signs and red lights accidentally and all that and been let off I know some of that shyt is not happen these days that’s all I’m saying ... also been caught drunk with sober friends driving and the cop just letting us go home. But I think what it is is that if they see you have potential in life they didn’t want to bring you in while real criminals were out in the streets.
