I like Half Baked & a few of his stand-up's, but Dave's always seemed a bit overhyped to me.I was always confused about people losing their minds over the Chappelle Show.In Living Color & Mad TV had already done it better, so color me lukewarm on that.And I'll be damned if white folks didn't love that Lil Jon "YYYEAAHHHHH!" sketch.They used to lose their shyt over that one.End of the day, I respect his craft, tho.Like I said, he has a couple stand-up's that are next level.I'm not accusing him of being Kevin Hart.Just think he's a lil overhyped.

Corey says everybody either isnt funny or is gay so this is really a compliment to Dave

That said, I have noticed a shift with Dave. Dude is a straight up orator who sprinkles in some funny shyt on a occasion now. His acceptance speech for that one award was funnier than his last couple specials.

Corey is both keeping it a buck and bitter because Dave keeps getting props and bags. I say this as a fan of both.

Corey's my dude and I watch him every week but we saw with Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish he plays favorites and picks and chooses who to call out and who to give passes. He was caping for Kevin so hard a few weeks ago he even justified the "backdooria" in the industry he's always calling out which I had never seen him do.

The two before that maybe twice or 3 times...

I think Dave is one of the greats too but these netflix specials are just him talking
