Just wanted to reiterate. This is a GREAT, GREAT ALBUM.

The skits are so poignant. Really makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Easily my album of the year.

The Common is OK as well. But this is far superior. Perhaps my fav hiphop album since College Dropout.

1) writes better songs

2) works with better producers consistently

3) can take an otherwise corny premise (industry is a good example) and turn them into great songs through sheer heart & Nas can't (world is an addiction is a good example).

4) made better hardcore, murder songs. Nas doesn't have a Killaz Theme 2 or get out my way or you don't want it in his library. Is now making better conscious songs. Compare this album to the stuff on the ****** album. Sly fox, project roach, the song where he says he was hanging with aliens.




All Nas has on Him is a god given flow.

Been listening to Mega' other albums to try and think where would rank this album. This album is 5 mics to me, The Realness is definitely 5 mics also to me. The True Meaning probably 4 - 4.5 mics.

I really like True Meaning, some great songs, it's a great album. Probably 4 - 4.5 to me but could see why people would say it's classic. The Realness though lol...... that's just straight up 5 mics to me lol.
