People really acting like we're done with the pandemic. I was watching the Players Championship this weekend and although the gallery was limited, everyone was still on top of each other. Not surprisingly, 3 PGA golfers tested positive after this weekend. Probably a whole lot more in the gallery.

Now CDC is saying students may not need 6ft distance from each other even without vaccinations:gucci:. I think the US is letting their guard down. Other countries are still on lockdown. There seems to be a crazy push in the US to open everything up. At least the Dems before were :whoa:. But now they also seem to be pushing for opening up just as much as the Republicans.
I talked to my wife about this a few days ago. I didn't understand why a lot of the news coverage was focused on stuff like how will work will look like post-pandemic. We are still in this shyt and all these municipalities, and we are seeing Democratic and Republican lead places, are easing restrictions and even allowing stadiums to open. :why:

WE ARE STILL IN THIS AND PEOPLE ARE REFUSING TO TAKE VACCINES OR DON'T KNOW HOW TO SIGN UP!!!

So glad we voted out Trump, I just have a feeling he and the others in secret would get the vaccine but not release it to the public because of it being a hoax. Feel really bad for the people of Brazil crying out for one, while having to deal with others spreading it around.

Plus since Brazil is in the Southern Hemisphere, they are about to enter/or are in the Fall Season and in a few months Winter.

I haven't been to DC since last March when the org I work for mandated remote work so I don't know what it's like over there, but up here in Howard County, supermarkets are as crowded as they were pre-covid. Costco, Wholefoods, Wegman's, all crowded as hell. People not really paying attention to social distancing or any of that sort. Luckily everyone is still wearing masks. We're not as crowded in the county vs Baltimore, Montgomery, or PG, so I can imagine how those places must be.

I’m reading the posts from January and February 2020 :wow:

I remember how press was just treating it like a 60 sec segment in news.
Then it got to WA and CA, and everything started to spiral.

This was the week last year where we all left the office for good, as we were to do a 'trial run' that turned into a permanent fixture. No one I know has died from it, at least close, but it feels like I was born into another life as I miss the open aspect.

I myself took it for granted, I didn't expect all this weird shyt the virus could do.

Yeah I don’t think it was gonna get this bad. I knew shid was gonna hit us but everything happening at once in March was a shock to the system.

My job works in Latin America/Caribbean so throughout January and February people in the office weren’t hip. I was hip cause of TheColi and some accounts I follow on Twitter. When Brazil was reporting cases, I was like oh shyt, we gonna have travel disruptions. I stocked up on some masks and sanitizers... in fact I still have some on my desk at work that I haven’t been at since 3/13/20 :damn:
