Hence the reason I call her a dumbass. Everything is fake until it touches you.

It sounds like she has a mild case and will very likely beat it. Of course no one wants to get COVID but if you’re young and relatively healthy it’s not a death sentence.

I feel we forget that part sometimes. Obviously still get vaxxed and take precaution but cases =\= deaths on a 1 to 1.

Yeah I agree, but I told her to get the vaccine, can’t be moving out here the way she was and potentially infecting people who could really get sick.

I still see a lot of people wearing masks, that might be the reason. But a lot of people also not wearing them. It's either you're vaccinated and wearing or not basically. I still see stores requiring them which it still should be.
Probably vaccinations. But if the delta hits that othodox Jewish quarter things may get ugly.

Letting fully vaccinated skip quarantine in England ‘will cause resentment’

Not arguing with expert opinion, but then what's the motivation to get the vaccine for the people who haven't?

boris dropping his "treat everyone the same" principle ..

at the first sign of trouble ...

germans crossed that bridge a while ago

"COVID and ethics: Germany debates 'freedoms' for the vaccinated
Ethical questions on how to treat individuals presumed immune to COVID have accompanied the pandemic from early on. Now, as Germans urgently want to resume their normal lives, the debate has intensified."

my sisters friend who owns a business had a employee who was positive and didn’t tell no one. She got it, gave it to her kids, husband and her grandmother caught it. The grandma ended up on a ventilator.

Can’t imagine what that fam is going thru.
