My heart sank when we as parents got mass emails outlining back-to-school procedures And in the second line it read "Masks are strongly recommended. I know exactly what that means, and I shouldn't have to tell anyone here what 'strongly recommended' means. Granted this is in Tulsa, OK, and while this is fukking Oklahoma, they at least made it to where masks were a requirement last school year for the kids.
Two days in there is an episode in our daughter's second grade class and here we are back home for a bit, although they said and 'attendance is optional for your students during this time'.... OPTIONAL?!!?
This year is going to be a TRAINWRECK. This is complete negligence

Its wartime against the virus. Why spent pointless hours with a patient who is going to die? People need beds, they need ventilators. When you put the infrastructure on absolute crisis, the infrastructure dictates that people need to die. For every one person who is too far gone, you could save two more that have a good shot with the limited resources.

That's why I understand. They don't want the vaccine but still want the care. A lot of medical people are feeling the same way. Refusal of the vaccine is, in many people's eyes, a repudiation of health care in general. Your choice to act an ass but still burden us with your stupidity? A lot of these idiots are going to the hospital and still spewing their bullshyt to the medical professionals. On this topic, I'm behind the medical people.
We tried to help with the vaccine. You refused that but now you want to bring your contaminated ass around us. For those that got the jab, we'll do all that we can. For those who can't because of age or underlying reasons, we'll do all that we can. For those on that fox news/oann/newsmax program, lowest on the totem pole. Lol, I couldn't be a politician. I'd be too real for folks.
