In my opinion, the government either needs to pay everybody 75% of their salary or open the economy back up this summer, and everybody can decide for themselves if it's worth the risk to go back to work and interact with the populace

I realize that, but I'm also saying that it is not sustainable to close down the entire fukking economy for 5 to 6 months either, with no assistance.

In my opinion, the government either needs to pay everybody 75% of their salary or open the economy back up this summer, and everybody can decide for themselves if it's worth the risk to go back to work and interact with the populace

I don't think very many people disagree with this point though...well except for @the cac mamba and @DEAD7 - they're fiscally "conservative" and are concerned about the additional oversight this would require

Inflation is the last thing you need to be concerned about if your economy doesn't recover because you never got a handle on coronavirus.

Every large country is suffering. Best believe if there needs to be an economic reset to cope with this is will happen.

Once the virus kills off a lot of these rednecks, and the NFL season cancelled, a lot of wealthy people gonna be pissed at Trump for fukking their money up. In fact, a lot of wealthy people lost money thanks to his incompetence.

I just wanted to give everyone an update on my wife. She had a sinus infection, and because of the pandemic, we didn’t really categorize it as that serious and didn’t go to the hospital. Yesterday she became incoherent so I called an ambulance. They took her to the hospital, and I am not allowed to go be with her. The infection spread to her brain, and she is now in critical condition, and they are going to do brain surgery today. I am a fukking mess, I am broken, fetal position sobbing. Our daughter had to come and collect me, and tell me to be strong for her, I’m trying. I can’t hold my wife’s hand right now. I’ve never hurt this much in my whole entire life. I only ask that you folks pray and send positive thoughts my wife’s way, please, if anybody dislikes me on this board, or has a beef with me, I apologize for whatever, just please send positive thoughts and prayers towards my wife, she is my everything, my whole entire world, and nothing in the world means anything to me if I don’t have her with me. Please be safe out there, and let everyone you know that you love them! Please. A lot of y’all is like family to me even though we don’t really know each other irl, and I love you!
