People are gonna want things to reopen once May 1st comes. Once they see things are not as bad as was projected people will want to go back to work. It’s human nature. And governors are going to be under pressure politically and economically to re open as the economic fallout is looking really bad. I don’t see the American people wanting this lockdown going past May. It’s unrealistic. What I fear though is a second wave of infections in the fall and winter. To prevent that we need mass testing, contact tracing then it will be safe to re-open.

Projections from the White House are all based on maintaining social distancing until August.

The South will just begin to hit its peak around 5/1.

Things will get as bad as projected if states decide May 1st is a start date.
