BREAKING: The Trump administration warned a House committee Wednesday that the federal government's emergency stockpile of personal protective equipment like masks, face shields, gowns and gloves is already depleted, and states will not be receiving any more shipments amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

"Now that the national stockpile has been depleted of critical equipment, it appears that the administration is leaving states to fend for themselves," the chair of the committee said.

Governors have said that a shortage of medical supplies has led to states navigating the private marketplace.

What do you think the outcome is going to be? lmao

There are 30 million+ small businesses and our society is built on them. What do think is going to happen to the owners of those companies and their families and their employees and their families?

The US is already largely dominated by corporations and people suffer everyday because of it. So what we're going to end up with even more corporate control and an even larger state if society doesn't breakdown completely.

That isn't a society worth living in.

It is inevitable that small business will get more aid, based on your reasoning, like the the average citizen will as well because this is going to last longer than current estimates.

Highly doubtful. The first bailout for small businesses came too late for many and the law they signed most recently well that money still hasn't made it's way to small businesses.

Whether it's incompetence or indifference it really doesn't matter at the end of the day... a day late, a dollar short


loans and grants aren't going to help anyone if their businesses have folded, the supplies chains have collapsed, and everyone is going bankrupt and suing each other

the "average citizen" was just granted $1200 dollars if they were lucky, it still hasn't arrived and it's a pittance

The current national debt is at $24 Trillion right now at this very moment. As long as the Fed can continue to write blank checks..the government going broke isn't an option.

November Folks I speak too brains melt when I say at least June. Pretty much hello economic depression and lazy americans might actually revolt.



I think we're pretty much going to be doing a song and dance with this until a definitive vaccine or treatment.

It’s going to lift in some place in June. But if people think it will be any less restrictive than before. Go to work. Go home.
