We used to do big shyt before the assault on big Gubment started in the late 70s.

We used to lead the world on big public initiatives. From creating a middle class, interstate highways, impressive public works like the Hoover Dam to seemingly trivial shyt like landing a man on the moon.

With social distancing, stay in home, etc, we've still had 26K deaths and around 250K people get this virus in just March. We've had, as a country, such a half-assed response to this, this can easily go into 2021, the numbers keep rising and most people won't be doing shyt until numbers start dropping and a vaccine is out. Sports are going to be hurting for a minute because even when we start up, after the initial rush of being at a game again, that shyt will fall off quickly. The world has changed due to this.
