GA school season is August-May. GA's school season starts and ends a lot earlier than most other states. I know. It was weird as fukk to me when I 1st moved here.why would they open on august 5th even without the virus

It’s allegedly a leftover scheduling mentality from when more families worked on farms in the south so kids were out of school for planting season. And harvesting happened in August to September.why would they open on august 5th even without the virus
