Just like I thought, the media in the span of a week went from, "The CDC is too slow to loosen mask guidelines," to, "The CDC is loosening mask guidelines too fast."

Jake Tapper opened his show saying the CDC was loosening mask guidelines too soon and is now trying to play gotcha with the Hawaii governor on why he hasn't loosened mask guidelines.
