yielding power vs not

Yes there are people thinking about yielding power, but that's actually a small part of this. At this stage we need to be honest about some key things, it would help if the governments were honest with people.
The window to defeat Covid is lost. It's endemic. We can take vaccines and boosters and cover the variants as best we can but going forward we have to live with it.
Vaccines give you great protection from dying of Covid but at this stage they don't stop the spread of Covid. So while it would be good for unvaccinated people to stop acting the fool, we need to stop acting like they are the main bad actors in this horrible play.
We lost the war because governments were beholden to big pharma, and profits were more important than lives. Everything after this has been marketing to distract us from the shytshow.
I would love if people would get vaccinated, if for nothing else than to put less strain on the hospital and first responders, but it would be nice if people were told the truth about where things stand.

If both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated can spread Covid, why are only the unvaccinated being tested?

my wife has to get tested and work from home if she felt sick at all
I'm sure the thinking is that if they're vaccinated at least they won't end up in a bodybag. It would help to have the policy/guidance instead of the tweet I suppose

Right. Dying is totally different to spreading though. People may die but surely the reason for testing is to reduce and manage spread?
So how are we reducing spread with this policy?
I feel there must be an angle I am missing, but the more I try to reconcile this policy to facts, the more puzzled I am.

I think a lot of this has to do with getting vaccinated being a perk because adults are the ones primarily needing it.
Testing is a PITA so get ya shot(s) and no need for it. Its a sad way to get around making it a requirement for employment. Which employers are better off doing FDA approval or not.
Not sad, dishonest. Especially as it does nothing to stop the spread of Covid.
We are using the vaccine as a means of getting back to normal when the truth is, normal is gone. Living with Covid is the new normal.
