It’s such a bizarre time in American politics. They are literally putting the health of their kids, the base that can’t afford private schools anyway, at risk just to own liberals.

There was an opinion piece in the Post today by a conservative writer calling this version of the GOP a nihilist party. They are ready to burn everything to the ground out of spite. Crazy. I wonder if there was another time like this in American history?

"The nihilist party" pretty big insult to Nihilist everywhere to just lump them in with white supremacists of the GOP

The 2022 Midterms will be very interesting, since the Pandemic will still be going on with more new variants. Yet you will have the Trumpset vs. Conservatives. So who wins the Primary? Will it be the people Trump promotes?

I think we would be normal by 2023, but this might be until 2025 now because a good portion doesn't give a fukk. It seems like you need a very serious, very deadly variant to possibly, although some have stated they STILL WOULDN'T GET THE SHOT, to get vaccinated after.

The mRNA vaccine from Pfizer (PFE.N) and BioNTech (22UAy.DE) may be less effective than Moderna's against the Delta variant of the coronavirus, according to two reports posted on medRxiv on Sunday ahead of peer review. In a study of more than 50,000 patients in the Mayo Clinic Health System, researchers found the effectiveness of Moderna's vaccine against infection had dropped to 76% in July - when the Delta variant was predominant - from 86% in early 2021. Over the same period, the effectiveness of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine had fallen to 42% from 76%, researchers said. While both vaccines remain effective at preventing COVID hospitalization, a Moderna booster shot may be necessary soon for anyone who got the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines earlier this year, said Dr. Venky Soundararajan of Massachusetts data analytics company nference, who led the Mayo study.

Lockdown part 2. Might as well learn to cut your own hair.

The mask is to stop you from spreading the virus

Unvaccinated should be living a normal life

am struggling with what to do next , i was hardcore locked down from late January last year until basically March of this year. Mask/double mask, vaccine etc and have slowly been going back to "normal" this year. Even went on a road trip half way across the country, but now with delta spreading more and more not sure if i should huddle back down

Depends on how much you value interaction. Tbh beyond isolation, if you are vaxxed, use a mask, social distance and wash your hands regularly, there isn't much else you can do.
