If Invermectin was a low cost cure for Covid don't they think Merck would have done the clinical trials and trumpeted it to the high heavens? That would be easy money!
Even if it weren't and Merck operated at a loss selling Invermectin the publicity alone for finding a Covid cure would be worth the loss.
Either way you look at it the fact the company came out and said nope...don't do it, should be enough, but people believe what they want to.
