Why Are Wealthy NYers Living In Taxpayer-Subsidized Affordable Apartments?

Behold...the answers to your questions can be located above...
He hustled the brakes off the system. Claimed to be broke and single, when the whole time he was married and and his wife and him earned half a mill a year , used phony SSN's for fake dependants, and they still can't kick him out the building. :ohhh: A true east coast scumbag. :wow:
You'd have thought they'd ask for more recent tax records or at least checked the documentation. I'm thinking somebody got paid off.
I feel like a lot of people in this thread have never lived in NYC, and are making assumptions based on some numbers on a screen.

NYC is about hustle and opportunities, not living in some big house and owning car...
What are you even talking about? Hustle? What hustle? :mjlol: What opportunity? Opportunity to do what? Unless you get rich doing it, which isnt statiscal probablity for most people, youre just chasing your tail to make ends meet and claiming its "hustling." Why dudes like making thier life more difficult is beyond me. You nikkas is just pulling anything out of the air, grasping at straws to justify getting screwed over.:wow:
There are quite a few nice, stable areas in the Bronx btw, fukk what you heard.
Then why does everyone say its dirty and ghetto? :ld: Why when I visit it looks like the run down hoods I see here in the Midwest? :ld: What area you talking about? :ld:

Na...just loopholes hence the article highlighting one specific scenario to paint the picture for quite a few.

NYC is swindler, scammer and scumbag capital. For example...

Years ago this guy I knew through family rented out a room to me after the initial Apartment I had through him went south (another story) The room was in a two story house with a basement...room shares I believe in every floor. Let's say...5 rooms on the 2nd floor and the same on the first. Anyway months went by and the guy comes to everybody like he can no longer afford to keep up with the payments on the house and everyone has to vacate the property in 3 months or so because the bank was repossessing the house. He gave me longer to roll out but one by one people left. Come to find out what this nikka really wanted to do was gut everything, renovate and rent out to stable tenants (guess he got tired of the sob stories of so many different people on any given week crying money woes). What's the catch? Squatter's rights are a huge deal in NYC. It can be an arduous task to get someone kicked out of a property they refuse to leave. It takes money (I believe 2500 for the court appointed Marshal) and time (if the tenant is desperate, smart and doesn't about their credit score the process can run up to like 18 months). So by him making up that phony story he got people to bite with no resistance. My guess? The house had been paid for since back in the day already.

The amount of stories man...it's a real dog eat dog world over here

So because gas is cheaper its to pay to more?

This is about paying more for the same regardless if it's a fukking 20oz coke bottle
It's not the same though. Depending on what you want, NYC has shyt to offer that nowhere else does.

But I would rather have a backyard and decent quality of life than "culture, museums, fine dining". Nobody does that shyt every day; I get my NYC fix with my annual trip

I cant think of 5 things you can do in NY that you cant anywhere else that justifies its high cost of living

What does hustle and opportunity have to do with living in a small ghetto ass apartment for $1500
