It’s their current business strategy.

Sony spends LOTS of money to win the console wars. They are undoubtedly losing money on those costco bundles. Thats their business strategy.

Xbox has half a billion users across all platforms, it doesn’t make business sense for them to lose billions trying to force some of those people to play on xbox.

BRUH you not making sense!!!! :dead: it doesnt make any sense. Why increase the prices of consoles no one wants, why STILL create consoles no one wants. how is that a solid business strategy bruh?!?!!? do you know how bad this looks when retailers telling you to kick rocks, but only YOU and not sony & nintendo?

They are not an electronics store. The overwhelming majority of their revenue has nothing to do with electronics. The places that concentrate on selling electronics still sell xbox.

Thing is, Costco doesn’t constantly have any consoles in stock.

Like i said they are a specialty store. They only offer products that are unique to their store, or a unique discount.

The only playstation/switch consoles available at costco are unique discount bundles that costco has negotiated a good price for their store.

Xbox is not doing discounts and bundles right now, so they couldn’t come to an agreement for xbox products.

LOTS of successful elsewhere products are not carried by costco.
Walmart isn’t an electronics store. They’re the biggest retailer in the nation. That means they get huge amounts of foot traffic from retail buyers. If they dropped Xbox which it’s sounded like they’ve been on the verge of doing I’d guess you’d downplay that too?

Costco is not a specialty store it’s a wholesale club that sells general merchandise and grocery items. They dropped this product while still carrying other products in the category. A long time retail partner decided they don’t want to sell this specific product anymore. That has significance. Getting Costco to sell your product at retail is a big deal.

They’ve been on the verge of dropping lots of electronics because they don’t sell well in retail stores.

Again, like 90% of software sales are digital now.

There will be a time where none of this is on physical store shelves anymore.

Again, they only sell products that they can offer a unique sku at a unique price trump tariffs made it so they can’t do that with xbox in america.

They are still selling xbox products around the world.

Apparently that’s not true today. Don’t really care about your cult musings. Facts are facts.
