Based on rumors the pc won't just be a pc it will be sort of a console that's backwards compatible with all previous gen xbox games with a console ui so users can access xbox games they bought. Sony are petty enough to not want to put their exclusives on an xbox pc that resembles a console in interaction. Yet, I wouldn't be surprised they put them on there anyway assuming that console is niche and doesn't sell well. That could still could bother Sony though.

I think the next Xbox will be an extremely premium console. That’ll probably have multiple storefronts, backwards compatibility, and runs pc games. That’ll be set at a price that only console/Microsoft enthusiasts are willing to pay for.

If they make a console that has FULL access to Steam AND Steam Sales, that system would sell.

It would obviously be customizable, have some decent exclusives, make it cheaper than pre built pcs

I wonder who would do the heavy lifting design wise for the console Microsoft or steam

Probably Valve if I had to venture a guess, at least on the software side for steam integration. If I were Microsoft I'd still have a physical media drive in said system though.

Went to Walmart this morning and they only had Xbox controllers.
Not a single xbox game or xbox console in sight.
They didnt even have a section for them.
Only sections were a full wall for Switch and Switch 2 and a half a wall for PS5.
