This is a sign they should put an end to dedicated hardware. When one of the biggest US retailers pulls your product amidst declining sales the writing is on the wall. The market doesn't want more console options. Accept it.

No they don't want overly expensive consoles. This, the $600 ps3, etc. Notice this is not occurring with the ps5.
This is a sign to Sony on what to price the ps6 because past a certain price consumers will not buy a console besides a very small amount of enthusiasts.

Sony could price the ps6 at $600 or $700 but I don't believe Sony wants to deal with what will occur afterwards. Consumers won't buy a console beyond a certain price, which seems to be about $500.

This is another situation where yall will make it a big deal when xbox does it, then will do the “that was different” dance when all gaming hardware/software is inevitably removed from physical shelves.

Gamestop has been dying for over a decade now.
