better as a series. They could just do a show about detailing the adventures of the BOSS and work their way up to the present
Parrot Exposition
Naomi: I also put some nootropics in there.
Snake: Say what?
Naomi: Nootropics. It's a class of drugs which will help improve your mental functioning.
Snake: It'll make me smarter, huh?

Describe Parrot Exposition here.
You want me to describe Parrot Exposition here, huh?
A type of exposition in which one character repeats another, pressing them on something they just said. Sometimes this happens repeatedly, making one of them look pretty knowledgeable and the other pretty clueless.
This can easily be Truth in Television. Sometimes you just want a bit more detail. Worth noting that Japanese, the language that many examples are translated from, does this a lot as a mechanic of the conversational language.
Often done by The Watson. Compare Repeating so the Audience Can Hear, for when we can't hear the other side of the conversation, and Parrot Expo-what?, where the exposition is so shocking, sesquipedalian, or obscure that the other party can't repeat it.
The reason solid snake constantly repeats things is because Kojima is Japanese and thats how there language works.

If you are writing for a crowd that is 90% english speaking that is a poor excuse![]()
Aren't there more Japanese that play that game tho? I'd assume so since they outnumber us
