Why did you throw those 2 bums into the conversation with one of the best PG's of the modern era?:what:

I'll only speak on Chris. I knew dude was gonna be special when I saw a sportscenter special on him dropping 61 points for every year his recently murdered grandfather lived :wow:

He was still small as hell at that time though, but dude just had IT since his freshman year at Wake.

Right? The answer is yes. Chris Paul was too talented not to succeed in the NBA. :yeshrug:

Rose could have done it.
I think Rose, Westbrook, Liv, and maybe Wall could've done it recently. But all of those guys are ridiculous athletes that stood out as some of, if not the best, athletes in their class. Look at all the guys who didn't make it. :wow:

Guards develop different than bigs. With high school bigs - its easy, because you can almost bet on how they'll develop physically. That's a huge part of drafting. Guards though... its the most difficult position to play in the NBA mentally and the most stacked by far talent wise.

I'm not saying PGs should never come out, but I would say that I just wouldn't ever feel comfortable with it.

Nah he had to go to college first. Some team may have taken a flyer on him late in the 1st but his career wouldn't have been as good as it has turned out to be. He had the size disadvantage and playing at Wake for 2 years helped him deal with that even more cause he was playing in the ACC against teams that had 7 footers or at least cats close to that height. So the college game was good for him in that aspect.

Livingston had the talent but obviously he couldn't sustain the physicality of the league.

Also wasn't Lebron consider a PG coming out if HS?

Lebron is probably the GOAT high school specimen. Can't even bring him up in this type of discussion :wow:

Livingston was fine. His injury didn't occur on some Rubio shyt, that was a freak accident. Never seen anything like that on the court. Even Kevin Ware and Paul George's injuries made more sense.

Rondo is another one IMO. He was great his freshmen year when he had talent around him but that 2nd year I feel he really didn't get better. His stock fell. Tubby Smith didn't kno how to coach him
