Could criminal records cost some ados their eligibility for reparations?

Like how felony disenfranchisement cost some people their right to vote? This is the same country that made Trump president after all. I'm only asking because if reparations become an actual possibility then we should be contemplating potential road blocks the powers that be might set in place. I think this is my first ADOS/reparations thread

The disproportionate rates of Black incarceration is related to slavery so I can't see having a record preventing one from reparations in whatever form it comes. Heck, if anyone would need those benefits more than most it would be folks with a record. Still though, this conversation is putting the cart before the horse.

It would be interesting to see if they gave a very small pocket of ADOS reparation. Then, created a fake threat to cause ADOS without reparations to seek other ADOS for poverty based crimes. That could be a way whites could maintain supremacy as their numbers drop.

Reparations are being paid because the US admits it has wrongly disenfranchised and oppressed large segments of its society, part of that oppression involved mass incarceration.
In other words, no. It's like saying jews post-WWII shouldn't get reparations from Germany, because the Germans labeled them criminals.

What does jail have to do with it? The payment is for the troubles your family line went through i..e multiple generations.
