Correct me if I'm wrong, but Frank barely wrote any of his material, right? I'm not talking about the established songs he did covers of. I'm talking about original songs that debuted on his albums. I believe he barely wrote any of that stuff. From what I understand he DID do SOME writing though and collaborated with song writers.
That was back when in the 40s and 50s though. Wasn't it common for singers to sing stuff others wrote for them? Weren't the Beatles in the 60s pioneers partly because they started being in complete control of the song writing behind their albums? I need some music-heads to fill in some of the blanks for me here, but I was listening to one of my Sinatra albums the other day and just saw some parallels between him and Drake
