Germany, along with the U.K., had the greatest scientists and engineers during that time so they could have easily won the war if they hadn't fukked up towards the end. If Germany hadn't tried to invade the USSR and if the enigma code hadn't been cracked.... they could have easily won. The fact that Hitler tried to invade Russia is laughable. Only the mongols have ever been able to invade Russia.

Perhaps they could have won WWII but I doubt they sustain power. Insurgencies would have eroded the german people's will to fight and hold territory. Now IF they had developed the bomb and an effective delivery mechanism, well, that is another matter entirely.

Depends what we mean by "winning the war". Attacking Russia is what did them in, they should've managed Western Europe without trying to expand too much. Remember there were still colonies at the time so exploiting them to their benefit instead of France's or Belgium's for example would've been easy as hell, and suddenly you have access to all the ressources of the Congo and half of Africa. Middle-East was still very much up for grabs and Nazis could've played their cards there (I think there were already contacts between them and some Arab countries). Big thing though is that Nazis (and Germans in general) never really had an important expansionist policy outside of Europe.
At some point if you control all of Western Europe and have Mussolini in Italy and Franco in Spain, you can now play that position to your advantage imo with the USSR, the UK and the US. Strike a deal like Nazis get Western Europe and parts of Africa, Soviets get Eastern Europe, US gets Latin America. Basically, another Yalta. Now instead of a two-way Cold War, it's three-way. Of course at some point someone would fall, but nothing says that for example the US wouldn't have teamed up with the Nazis to put pressure on the Soviets.
