No. Or rather yes...then no.
As everyone has said Russia was his fuk up, but let's be honest, he essentially wanted what is now the EU to be Germany. After WWI and then WWII the population of Europe took a giant fukin L Germany moreso and Russia lost an estimated 27-28+ million people which was 13 percent of it's total population...that's just WWII. WWI was just under that, Germany losing a little more than 4% of it's population. There's a reason the US emerged looking slick as fuk after these wars. A. We funded boths sides of them and B we loss less than 1 million people in both wars combined. I don't think people really appreciate the magnitude of death that occurred in these two wars. HAD Germany somehow managed to win the grip on their newly acquired territories would have been so loose that ultimately things would have broken up.

Yeah they might have had a shot at winning the war had they not done any numbers of things, but in terms of it being a lasting victory, I highly doubt it.

Whats considered a win?

No one is fukking invading the USA :mjlol:
I think most people consider WWII at least the onset of it to be essentially Germany VS The rest of Europe, then Russia. The US involvement didn't come till later. A win, at least how I view it, would have been if Germany had managed to invade and conquer Europe.

Von Manstein > Guderian >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Rommel

Manstein has a claim on best general ever. Dude was:ohlawd:

You Germans are insane. Manstein was bytch slapped by the Soviets.

Taking France and Poland is no bragging rights compared to the rest of the war. That's when the big boys came out to play.

Best general ever :mjlol:

Dig deeper.

The French and British armies were arguably significantly stronger than the Germans before the invasion btw. Your narrative is driven almost entirely by American propaganda.

What propaganda are you speaking of? American Generals and Admirals ran the war on both theaters.

Did they not or is every historical account erroneous?
Allies winning the war does not mean the allies had the better generals. You seem quite unable to separate the two. Generalship is one small piece of a much larger puzzle.

If you were to assume that a zhukov vs von Manstein showdown was completely equal in every other area and zhukov came out on top, then you can make that argument. Unfortunately that's an awful assumption. If you want to talk about it battle by battle, I'd enjoy that but it's seems like you'd be flying around Wikipedia to populate your responses.

No need to get personal in defense of your Nazi generals. Just having a difference of opinion.

We can talk about as many battles as you wish. Do you know any battles in the Pacific?

You addressed me with some silliness first. If you want to make slick comments, make sure you're on point with your own opinion. I'm not seeing anything worth my time breh

Zhukov and Mihailovic are under-rated historically.
