I saw the potential in Joe back then.
I used to tell everybody Amare & Joe were the future of the Suns.Ahead of Marion & Nash(He was getting up there in age)
In retrospect, it probably wouldn't have worked out because Amare had the knee issues, but at the time, I thought Joe was the 2nd most talented player on the team.
In the limited times he got to showcase his skills, he was by far the best shot creator out there.I don't blame him for leaving the Suns.I think they tried to hide/give him a diminished role on purpose.Hoping they'd be able to resign for a cheaper price.
