I'd rather George go to the Spurs and CP3 go back to the Hornets, altho Cousins probably hates him.

Would trading for George require losing both Pau and Aldridge or just one?

The Rockets need someone like PG13 as well but obviously the Harden/Dantoni combination probably isn't that excitable for most players

PG's set to make $19,300,000 next season. Pacers have substantial cap room as well.

Gasol will likely opt in ($16,197,000 next season). LA is making $21,461,000.

If Indy wants to do somewhat of a rebuild, I could see something like Gasol + Danny Green + a 1st for PG and a bad contract. Indy gets a 3 and D guy for cheap (Green's locked in for $10 mil a season a couple more years) and a ton of cap space when Gasol comes off the books. Spurs get their 1 year rental of PG at the cost of losing Danny Green.

:ehh:

Assuming George doesn't want to stay with Indy... this seems like a very low risk / high reward venture for the Spurs. Even if George walks out on them after 1 year, they essentially only would've sacrificed Danny Green.

That doesn't seem like a bad deal for the Pacers either if they essentially want to just clear the books, and considering that most teams probably aren't going to give them a valuable 1st round pick for a 1 year rental OF George.

Kawhi, PG13 and Aldridge is a nice core for Pop to work with.

Neither George or LeBron want to play PF, so nope.
Against the only team that matters, they'd (it would of course be Paul even tho LeBron athletically should be a 4 at this point) would be defending either Draymond or Kevin. So either their matchup is very skinny or shorter. PG is like 6'10 so he should match up quite well with the length, not necessarily the wing span, but the length. I think it would work well seeing as how Cleveland doesn't give a fukk about playing in the post anyway
