nothing, its just a SM trend and young kids wanting attention....first off even if they were serious (which they aren't) they would have to understand white supremacy and have life experience to demand the proper things

basically theyre lost and dont have older ppl to guide them, because the older ppl are lost themselves
This is what it seems like to me and this is why it kind of saddens me having discussion with black people who are involved or support black lives matter in real life.

Okay, I get the police brutality thing. 100%. But I try discussing issues of politics with them, issues of economics, issues of laws and legislation, issues of black wealth (stuff that actively affects black lives) and it seems like they either tune me out or they don't want to hear it or they don't know what I'm talking about.

Plus, why are there so many white people and non-black people involved with an organization called "BLACK LIVES MATTER"? Like the majority of these BLM protests I've seen the majority of the protesters are white! It's like they don't have any knowledge of history! No wonder it's already been infiltrated with agents.

I try telling them that Gloria Steinem (the CIA agent who has had a history of dismantling student political movements from the inside out since the 1950s, that's what she was hired to do for the CIA since she was recruited for them) and George Soros being involved in the movement is bad news, I try telling them about Cointelpro and they do not want to hear it...at all.

Black Lives Matter, while a bit pandering to the unforgiving, wretched racial discriminatory power structure is a, social necessity that is needed now more than ever. They actually strengthen their durability by aligning themselves with issues facing Black Women and the Black LGTQ community also.

I'd rather have them then most of you do nothing fakkits that's for damn sure :mjlol:

Let me break this down as simply as I can. The police system in America is very unequal and unfair. Police get treated like they're above the law; and Caucasian Americans get easier and lighter sentences, for similar offenses in comparison to black people. The basis for black lives matter is that the Justice system should be administered equally across all racial lines. It has recently expanded to include stopping police brutality ( which exist) and Stop and Frisk laws ( Which still exist in big American cities). Black lives matter only deals with American Justice issues.

It seems white people attack them is because they cannot understand them. They don't understand why the justice system needs fixing ( it benefits them), why police are being scrutinized ( They treat white people better) and why people are trying to change court systems ( it's bias towards them in sentencing practices).

Some of their methods maybe flawed and unorganized; however they have proven to be effective. Ex: Stop and frisk leaves NYC, Police are now under heavy scrutiny, there's now major topics about reducing federal drug offenses.

In the end, Black lives matter represents a group of people ; black people predominately, who are tired of the BS. Here's a famous phrase that can sum the feelings black people have about the Justice system and police harassment. " IM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICKCAND TIRED" -Fannie Lou Hamer ( 1964 speech to US congress)
Okay. I hear you thanks for your input I appreciate that. And I understand this fully.

The BLM has a lot of flaws... Yet at least, they're doing something. Same nikkas talking shyt, is the same nikkas not doing shyt, but hitting their phone screen, complaining on a forum.

It's sad these kids are starting from scratch, and it says alot about the older generation in the blk community.
If the following generation have to fight the same battles y'all did, then that means, y'all aint did shyt.
BLM is far from perfect, yet instead of tearing them down, why not suggest ways they can improve?

exactly, its also co-opted like all black things....everything black get co-opted because were the only creativity ppl in this damn country that act human and not like self conscious robots....so ppl naturally gravitate to us just to feed off our energy and go back to their own . plus blacks want to be accepted by everybody, so the whole notion of black unity is non-existent

like u said these young nikkas dont want no game, and its not their fault. they've been brainwashed like we were, and it took all of us to get our wake up call and a foot up our asses to become a aware and the same thing will happen to them as they get older

Its an international activist campaign that was started by black people that campaigns against violence faced by black people. Things like: police brutality, racial profiling and racial inequality as it relates to the criminal justice system. On The Coli, though, its a movement that people regularly shyt on while they sit on their ass and do nothing.

It's truly unfortunate that not only do we not know the end goal, but apparently they don't either.
:sadcam:

The years coming to an end. shyt is still the same.
I hope for 2016 they are able to create a platform and list of demands.
Stop letting their high level of visibility go to waste.
It's not enough to just secure a meeting with *insert candidate or public figure here* if they can only scold and not articulate realistic expectations and demands.
It is unfortunate. I was supporting it cause they were making moves. I followed Deray on twitter cause he was really giving that movement credibility and he seemed to know what he was doing. But other than that, I really don't know what's gonna come of it. Things are the same, if not worse than they were last year.

I said that BLM is occupy wall street part 2 only because they didn't have a goal.

speak for your self im grinding everyday and we had to start from scratch too, im 28 and had to dont everything on my own. My grandparents and parents was like yeah just go to school and you'll get a good job, so after school when that job never came it dawned on me "wait that life doesn't even exist, they dont know what the real world is like for a BP in america, Im not the same as these white kids with connections".

the older generations set us up for failure, we have to survive in a racist capitalistic society and the only blueprint was "go to school and get a job" :why:....thats it? what!!!

police department reforms and accountability
Okay. Is that it?

Cause if that's it, sorry to say it, expect the same results. And another thing, if the goal of BLM was police reform and accountability it doesn't take an organization called "BLACK LIVES MATTER" to do that. Cause police brutality and injustice affects all people even though it affects black people disproportionately.

What about the other things that affect black lives? Like institutional racism? Job discrimination? Housing discrimination? Gentrification? Racial profiling? Banks being choosy with even considering giving loans to black men and women? I could go on. Where and when is BLM addressing this?
