Unless it's positive. Kobe was on year 15 at that point, you really gonna judge a mans game at that point? That's sickening

So you're only judging his good games and completely ignoring his bad ones yeah no bias at all there:mjlol:

Too much firepower for the lakers to deal with. We had 1 elite scorer the warriors got 3.

Why did I think that was an actual post of mine that you dug up? :russ:. I trust my eyes over yours that's for sure. If Kobe and Duncan never played each other in the playoffs, I'm 100% sure you'd believe Duncan would have won the head to head but luckily for us we have years of matchups that says otherwise.
i'll definitely take the 05 and 07 spurs against the warriors. Manu tony tim in their primes with horry and bowen and pop.

the 03 spurs get swept, the 14 spurs are a bit overrated. the 99 spurs would dominate inside but 1 kidney sean elliot, guarding durant and little general guarding steph would be bad for the spurs.

Fortunately for me, I have my eyes and watch the games and don't analyze hypothetical situations with stats. Imagine using stats as an argument at the barbershop. :mjlol:. Let me find out you go to first choice hair cutters.

This entire thread is a hypothetical situation and you had no problem brining up stats that helped your weak ass argument but when it shows him getting shut down you go back to some eye test bullshyt :mjlol:shut your blind ass up

They went 7 with the Rockets, and 6 with the Nuggets, but are gonna beat this team in 6? :mjlol:

08 Celtics went 7 with the Hawks, 7 with the Cavs but then beat the Lakers in 6.

NBA as a whole is alot weaker now than it was in 2009. 2009 was actually the last great year in the NBA. Guys like LeBron, Dwight, CP3, and Wade were in their physical primes. Kobe was in his late prime. KG, Pierce, and Ray Allen were still dope. KD, Russ, and Harden were just starting out. The NBA was at its peak back then. You had several contenders in each conference. The league overall was dope.

Right now the league is wack which gives nikkas the false impression the Warriors are actually all-time great. In reality every NBA champion from 2008-2014 would beat them.

2009 Lakers beat this year's Warriors WITH EASE.

In 22 games, Kobe averaged 24ppg on 43% from the field vs Iguodala and despite being on better teams he has a losing record vs Iggy (9-13) :russ:

Do you ever have an argument that isn't based on faulty stats? Half that shyt probably came when Kobe was over the hill. And the other half probably involved games where Kobe was double and triple teamed.

I know Iggy had one good game against prime Kobe. Then Kobe did this:

Sorry but if Kobe can call you out before the game and say he's gonna drop 50 on you....and then he drops 48 while not playing most of the 4th, you're not a Kobe stopper.

Nobody, but you can let kobe go off for 30-40 pts a game while taking 30 shots. You can even try putting KD on him, his length would definitely disturb kobe. And don't sleep on Klay's defense either.

Warriors in 5, maybe 4.

:mjlol: Kobe would drive by him with ease. Kobe's first step is much quicker than LeBron.

KD would have no chance against Kobe. They would put Klay and Iggy on him.

Kobe woulda made light work of KD.

Bynum played 17 minutes per game in the playoffs that year, the Warriors would make it virtually impossible for him to play in that series considering he was coming off an injury.

Gasol and Odom would beast.

Lamar would actually be the perfect counter to the Warriors style. He can guard them when they go small with KD and Draymond. But he can also pound them down low with their undersized bigs.

Remember the 05-06 Lakers played a team similar to the Warriors in the Suns with a vastly inferior team but were able to force them to go 7 games by slowing down the pace and banging the Suns down low with Kwame Brown and Lamar Odom. Pau Gasol is obviously superior to Kwame. And Lamar is still Lamar.

2009 Lakers would do the same thing to the Warriors the 05-06 Lakers did to the Suns.

And this time they won't choke in game 6 at home. They would close out the Warriors.

Kobe would avg. 50

No he wouldn't. If the Lakers are gonna win they would need to slow it down and they would feed the bigs in the post. Gasol and Odom would FEAST. Kobe would play like he did in 2006 against the Suns. He would run the offense and be the facilitator. Then in the 4th quarter he would take over.

If Kobe tried to score 50 the Lakers would lose.

This is the difference between Kobe and LeBron. Kobe is willing to sacrifice his personal stats to win a championship. To beat a team like the Warriors who like to score fast, you have to slow the game down, force them to play half court offense, and then defend like your life depends on it. Trying to run and gun with them won't work. You gotta employ the strategy the Lakers did in 2005-06 when they forced a more talented Suns team into a 3-1 deficit before losing in 7.
