Kobe stans trying heir hardest to keep this nikka relevant. fukk outta here. :camby:This wouldn't even be competitive. :mjlol: Durant and Curry would take turns every game dropping 40 on Kobe's head. :russ:

There is a reason everyone of Kobe's peers like Kevin Durant say he's the best player from their era.

All we're doing is just reminding you what the NBA players are saying.

Hell nah, the Lakers barely handled the Celts.

Celtics were built to beat the Lakers. They had 3 great defensive bigs in Kevin Garnett, Kendrick Perkins, and Rasheed Wallace. Those guys were able to neutralise Gasol, Odom, and Bynum. And then they had 3 great perimeter defenders to guard Kobe in Tony Allen, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce.

2008-10 Celtics were a tougher matchup for the Lakers than the 2017 Warriors.

Kobe would shoot them out of the game trying to go back and forth with kd/steph :troll:

No. He would play like he did in 2005-06 against the Suns. He would control the pace for 3 quarters by slowing down the pace and allowing the Lakers bigs to dominate down low. Then in the 4th quarter when the game is close he would take over and finish the game.

Kobe would probably average only 27ppg in the series but his fingerprints would be all over it because he would control the pace.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
NBA as a whole is alot weaker now than it was in 2009. 2009 was actually the last great year in the NBA.

This team went 66-16 in 2009.

But today is weaker :dead: you just saying shyt to say it.

played a team similar to the Warriors i

:wtf: How the fukk are the 05-06 Suns similar to the Warriors? The Suns had 1 ball handler, 1 primary scorer who didn't even play in that series due to injury (Amare) and ontop of that they didn't even play defense.

You're really trying to compare a team with Shawn Marion as their leading scorer, to the Warriors who have 3 guys that can get 30, with one of them being a historically elite isolation scorer.

This narrative is used WAY too much when it comes to Kobe. Kobe is a 45% career shooter. He needed 19 shots to get 25 per game, Bron (50% shooter) needed 19 shots to get 27 per game. Meaning they both took the same amount of shots but Lebron made ONE more shot per game. Kobe isn't the wild shooter like people make him put to be, it's his selection.

C/s they talk like kobe is ai. Or Crawford or something

I don't agree. At all.

The Warriors are a nightmare for the Lakers. They are a nightmare for everyone.

The Lakers biggest problem after 2010 was that they didn't adapt to the heavy PnR/3 point shooting/high pace/defensively versatile teams of today.

Curry/Durant/Klay are a huge problem for the Lakers on the perimeter. More than Gasol/Odom/Bynum would be for the Warriors.

Do you ever have an argument that isn't based on faulty stats? Half that shyt probably came when Kobe was over the hill. And the other half probably involved games where Kobe was double and triple teamed.

I know Iggy had one good game against prime Kobe. Then Kobe did this:

Sorry but if Kobe can call you out before the game and say he's gonna drop 50 on you....and then he drops 48 while not playing most of the 4th, you're not a Kobe stopper.

That was his 2nd year in the league, who the fukk considered Iguodala an elite defender in year 2? :dead:

We know what happened after that, and it was a lot of shytty games mixed in with some good ones.

If there's anybody forgetting something, it's retarded Kobe stans trying to defend his honor rather than the bigger picture of the Warriors TEAM being better than the Lakers TEAM.

A team that went 7 with the Yao & McGrady less Rockets is going to beat the Warriors in 6 or 7 according to these dudes.

A team that couldn't stop the Nuggets offense is going to stop the Warriors.

They may as well just say they aren't basketball fans and save everyone the trouble.

Kobe would drop 30 and 40 on Iggy religiously. The achilles game he was shytting on Klay. thats old Kobe. 09 kobe would son them no problem. Kawhi was sonning them all season and game 1 before Zaza purposely injured him.
This brew, especially with regards to Kawhi. Its like no one watched this season as Kawhi and an inferior supporting cast outplayed the Dubs every game he was on the floor. And Kawhi is like a 2nd Gen Kobe now, but not even close to as offensively skilled. I tell u, this Dubs team is getting hella overrated based off an injury to Kawhi.

I don't see anyone taking the crown from him this year

The thought of pau or Bynum trying to defend on the perimeter and getting caught in so many pick and roll plays is making my head spin.

Yea.....Kobe got older from that point on.

But you'll never mention that.

Prime Kobe destroys any version of Igoudala.
