:dead: @ Harris being legit.

Mehmet Okur was a top center :russ:
So Okur was trash? He essentially led the stretch 4-5 movement with dirk and a few others. Wow... and he's Euro. You're addicted to Euro bigs. :stopitslime:

You got some nerve talking about fake news, some of the quotes you've taken out of context could get me killed on the streets :leostare: I'm giving you a pass cause you're not in mid-season form right now.

Aight, so the Rockets without Yao and McGrady are better than the Game 1 Cavs, word?

Please break down how 2009 was a "tougher" era since it was the same exact rules teams play with today :lupe:

The best players of that era are better than the best players of today.

2009 Top NBA Players vs 2017 Top NBA Players

1. 30 year old Kobe > 32 year old LeBron
2. 24 year old LeBron > 28 year old Durant
3. 27 year old D-Wade > 28 year old Westbrook
4. 25 year old Carmelo > 27 year old James Harden
5. 23 year old Chris Paul > 29 year old Steph
6. 30 year old Dirk > 25 year old Kawhi
7. 23 year old Dwight Howard > 24 year old Anthony Davis

Straight down the board the top players in 2009 were better than the top players in 2017. The only difference was back then only the Celtics teamed up to form a superteam and all those guys were old. They weren't in their primes like the Warriors.

2008-09 top players shyts all over the top players in 2016-17.

There were more fouls & freethrows in 2008-2009 than this year :dame:

Dwight Howard was top 5 in 2009, your case is done with breh.

2009 Dwight Howard was GOAT level defensively.

He would destroy a team like Golden State defensively because of his rim protection and athleticism to guard the perimeter.

I know it's cool to make fun of Dwight now but in his athletic prime he was something else defensively.

So not one single player today is better than any from then?

What next, John Salmons is better than Paul George?

So now we pump Dwight Howard up to be even better, a dude Yao Ming absolutely dominated and was only truly good because of the lack of quality bigs in his own age range.

Nice, so the 2009 Magic would beat this years Warriors essentially.

Yao Ming was a 7'5" anomaly with sick post moves. Obviously 6'10" Dwight can't stop that. But this space and pace 3-point shooting basketball the Warriors play is made for prime Dwight Howard.

2009 Magic couldn't score well enough to hang with the Warriors. Dwight just wasn't good enough in the low post offensively. But defensively they would give them fits.

No, it's not made for Dwight at all, the fact you said he can't score in the post means teams would be fine defending him 1 v 1 or just fouling the shyt out of him.

Embiid is the perfect center for pace & space, he can shoot the three, post up and hit freethrows while defending.

LeBron's on year 14, you judging his finals performance or nah

Only on the basis of nikkaz comparing him to Kobe and MJ. He's actually performing exactly the way I expected, because I never thought he was Kobe/MJ level. This is the level of comp Kobe/MJ faced most nights. If it wasn't for the MJ/Kobe comparisons wouldn't be so much hubbub about this sh*t. It's just vindication for heads like myself who's been saying this sh*t all along :yeshrug:
