We gotta stop doing this (no disrespect to OP)...average HS lineman isn't giving up a sack to the average Joe...

For reference sake, one of my homies played on the O-Line at Temple, some hard head at a party kept on with this "nah I bet I could take you in a 3 point stance" and my homie was like "breh, you might be a body builder, but I have functional strength, I've been doing this my entire life, you might've played a couple years of ball and that's it...I'll literally push you across this entire room and set you on that counter..." and he proceeded to do just that.

Almost guaranteed the average NFL o-lineman runs a fast 40 time and is 5x quicker in a phonebooth than the average joe

Edit: I forgot the body builder got set on a burning hot stove after getting pushed 12 feet :russ:
Ok, you're talking about average joe’s. Were talking about average coli brehs. They're not the same.

@IIVI . that Doug Free story is hilarious!! I remember one of my uncles was telling his girl about how sorry the Lions are. He said they were a disgrace to the city and if he saw one of them, he would say it to their face. Soon after, he and his woman attend a banquet dinner. Who happens to be in attendance? Luther Elliss!! His girl says to my uncle, "Tell him what you told me."
Big Luther, all 6'4" 330 lbs pf him, is waiting for my uncle to say something out of line. My uncle looks at his Superhuman frame and no nonsense disposition, becomes instantly intimidated. Finally he says, "I think that youre a phenomenal player and if anyone should make the Hall of Fame while still being active, its you." 😅😂😅😂

@calh45 why use Marino as an example when he was arguably the greatest at evading pressure and elusiveness within the pocket?!
Because if you got your hands on him he was folding. He could move in the pocket, but had legs made out of tissue paper and scotch tape so once you got your hands on him he was going down.

Meanwhile Cincinnati fans got anxiety right now about Joe Burrow fighting off sacks the way he does because of his injury history, but Joe still be fighting them off and he's one of the "not athletic" ones.

What era are you talking about? Ive seen Dan swat away Lyze Alzado and Howie Long in a playoff game before. 1984 playoffs, the year that he reached his lone Superbowl..i e seen him evade sacks from Beuce Smith. He had a seaso where he was only sacked 9 times for the entire year!!

A sack? As in beat an offensive lineman and then tackle the qb? Folks here would get juked by the qb or straight up fail to tackle them if by some miracle they got past the OL.
Jared Goff would look like Lamar Jackson seeing these dudes coming around the corner

Average coli breh is a self-made millionaire playboy, 6'8 point-foward that shoots 40% from three, yet is an explosive EDGE rusher, and runs a 4.4
:ohhh: The average coli breh is LeBron? LeBreh? Oh my god…
