Yes those early Heat teams played way better defense than these Cavs. GS is a better slighlty better and wiser version of Okc that the Heat beat.

He said he never played on a superteam.
Q: You've been a part of two super teams, the one you have here, the one you had in Miami, looking at what the Golden State Warriors have done, are you still a fan of the concept? Do you think it's a good thing for the NBA to build these teams how they brought in Kevin? You get what I'm asking?

James: No, not really. I don't believe I've played for a super team. I don't believe in that. I don't believe we're a super team here. So, no, I don't really, I don't -- you guys want one more question before I leave and not see you guys for a long time?

Thought he was referring to the term itself, but yeah Miami was a super team. They played elite offense and defense and would be in the GOAT team argument. I wouldn't put this Cavs team in the same category, but I see why people would be salty about that.:ehh:

I hope this isn't the post you wanted me to read.

Wade averaged 19.6ppg against Danny Green in the finals.
Chris Bosh averaged 11.9 against Diaw and 36 year old Duncan, if you could guard LeBron man to man you didn't have to respect Bosh' offense because he was catch & shoot.
Mike Miller averaged 5.3ppg and made less than 2 threes a game, he's gonna rain on the Warriors though.
Battier averaged 5.6ppg vs the Spurs, they combined for 3 threes a game...yeah they'd kill the warriors....low key :mjlol:
Haslem played 11 minutes per game.
Birdman didn't even average a fukking block in the finals, he pulled down 3rpg.

Basically, it was a pure garbage post where you pump up role players, and turn a blind eye to Wade losing a step in 2012-2013.
Yeah Wade was no longer "elite" by the time Ray got there and they would need elite Wade and Ray.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

Not only that, his premise is that you can beat up the Warriors on the glass, which was true last year, not this year.

Miami Heat were -2.2 for rebounding in those playoffs, the Warriors were +2.6 in rebounding going against the Jazz and Cavs, two teams that would have crushed those Heat teams on the glass. Imagine what Rudy Gobert would have looked like playing the Heat after what Hibbert did to them.

He's most definitely NOT saying he doesn't believe in the concept of "superteams". Of course he does. He's stating he doesn't believe he's been a part of a superteam - hence the reporter/editor asking "you've been a part of two super teams", and he replies "I don't believe I've played for a super team. I don't believe in that.".

Clearly stating that he doesn't believe in the notion that he's been on a superteam. He was just emotional after a Finals loss, 'tis all; comments we've come to expect from him. The worst thing that's come from this is that folk are trying to argue that he wasn't too.

:jbhmm: That Okc team would be how GS is except for the pinpoint accuracy from 3 if the front office did their job right. Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka=/= Durant, Curry, Klay. Green.

OKC was heavy isolation team, they were 21st in the league for assists.

This Warriors team is the result of the Spurs offense in 2013-2014.
