Could you survive in prison?

I have multiple family members who did some time. All of them basically said for the most part if you just keep your head down, you'll be ok. People will test you sometimes but stand your ground you'll make it out fine.

For the brehs who been in jail or know people have… if you mind your business can you survive

Had a cousin who was in and out of prison my entire childhood. Cool dude but was on drugs real bad and got himself into criminal situations.

Anyways, judge put him in a max security prison with lifers and guys on death row. I basically asked him the same question you asked.

He said on Tuesday that was general reception, intake and out take of new prisoners.

Basically when you first get to gen pop, at lunch, find the biggest, meanest looking dude and when the time is right BEAT THAT NIKKA AZZ!!!

You will get thrown in the hole (isolation) for 30 days and the guy you fought will be transferred out (relocated).

When you come out of isolation no one will give you any problems because you have set the precedent that your not to be fukked with.

Now mind you, my cousin is a big swole ass nikka, 6’5” around 260.

He also told me about his bunk mate getting killed when he was in Union Correctional Facility.

Yeah, it aint the same doggy. You on the other side of the gate with the keys and cameras. I get what you saying, but trust that it aint the same. Just knowing that you at "work" and are going home or that youre at work and you can choose not to be is reason enough it isnt the same.
I remember I was going back and forth with a dikkhead CO to when he would say shyt like "thats why you in here now" and I would say "yo bytch ass is right here too. Whats worse is you chose to be be here" and he said "yeah, but I can go home". The reality of that means he won that exchange. I hit him with "...and aint nobody that will give a damn when you get there. You may as well not go. Youre a nobody that cant wait to come to work so you can act like a somebody. Im gonna take my ass to sleep on this bunk and not do a damn thing or talk to, or see anyone that cares about me tonight...but im in jail. Whats your excuse? See you in the morning nikka."

I flamed the shyt outta dude but the fact is, he's there by choice and can leave whenever he wants. No amount of work hours means you understand what its like to be an inmate. Thats not to say that you couldnt cut it. Thats just saying being a CO or whatever you were isnt gonna be the thing that makes it happen.

Thats cool. I was on that too. Im just responding to you saying running fades and that nikkas dont really run fades in there unless the numbers are about the same and they dont want mob action or you fighting someone that aint on count.

I got brehs who did bids in Georgia DOC. I see alot of keep to yourself but that shyt don't work in prison (from what my brehs told me). you gonna have to engage one way or the other. shyt is mental warfare
