in your opinion would you rather have the bolded or be in general pop with a celly? I feel like the bolded would be easier for C.O's to control and your less likely to get into shyt.

Georgia prisons are some of the most violent prisons in the country. I have several friends that have done nice stretches and they all say just minding your business won’t cut it. If you’re isolated they may press you and do you dirty.
On top of that, GA prisons are wide open. The guys be in there eating pizza, Krispy Kreme, Popeyes, and playing the PS4.

Couple things:
•some of yall saying "I aint no small dude" or "I got hands", understand that your size doesn't hold the same weight in prison as it holds on the street...
And if you can fight that's a plus in your favor, but I've seen nikkas who can fight get hoe'd plenty of times. There's guys who can fight and the right circumstances still bring the bytch outta them...

First of all at a max there isn't free movement the way you have at lower level prisons, everything is monitored tighter, and your privileges from yard call to visitations can be restricted...
Also I've never heard of a max with dorms, and most maxes are single cells too although I have heard of 2-man cells in maxes in some states...
The highest level offenders are at maxes, so there's alot of guys doing alota time and it's groupings of competing clicks at odds. There's always someone(s) in the house/block/pod/unit who controls the flow of money so anything you do in regards to money, you gotta keep that in mind...
Most the showers are gonna be open bay, phones may look open but often aren't, there's a bunch of weapons floating around even if you don't see them, and it is high school like politics...
You can survive minding your business and doing your time, but as others said when your time comes that someone wants to try it, you have a decision to make. The thing in a max is guys respect violence over everything. There's gonna be less violence in some maxes compared to others, but there's gonna be violence around you at any max to some degree. You can go on a prison wide lockdoen for some shyt two nikkas did way on the other side of the compound, your lockdown can be a few days or a few months (the longest lockdown I ever experienced while in general pop was a week or week and a half but I've heard of some being shut down for almost a year)...
You got cop sympathizers in there lol. And most not gonna care what you did to come in, it'll earn you some points with some people initially but everything after that, your reputation will be determined on your behavior between the walls...
Prison has cop sympathizers, snitch protectors and apologists, and all kinds of shyt. Understanding the nuances of it is how you survive...

Working hard at avoiding that departure from freedom since my 20s,don't want to miss the comfort of a woman,coming and going when I please and taking a shyt without the lack of privacy. I hold my freedom in high regard,even over monetary gain or revenge.

I've only had to share cells in some county bids. Hated it, I need my own toilet, space, etc. At a max, you're in general pop it's just most have single cells, I much preferred that over shared cells or dorms...
The set up of maxes is designed to be easier to control the inmate population and I'm theory it is, lower level yards are designed so that the lower level prisomers and guys who earn their way to them have the trust to not take advantage of the freedom...
I did my bid between two prisons and both were maxes, but from what I've heard, while shyt goes on at any prison, guys at these mediums or lows are less apt to endanger their points or fukk up and get sent back to max...
I've been there and seen dudes who fukked up and get sent from a low or medium to max, most don't like it. I've seen dudes grade up from a max to a medium or low and that's the goal most prisoners have, just more freedom and less violence...
This. I did two 90 day stints. These Cacs say they bored at work.
