Noah won’t be slot forever. He can play slot but he’s really an outside corner. Flo and Grier definitely drafted him to be X’s Future replacement, especially since X has had injury concerns. X a strange guy but he aint that dumb, it’s pretty obvious they want him for about a couple more years then give him the that’s why he’s trying to get more guaranteed money while he still can

X is not wrong either. The Dolphins have a history of signing players to long-term deals and cutting them after one year or demanding them to restructure. X outplayed his contract and the defense is built around him. He has every right to demand more.

He just finished year 2 of a 5 year deal. When were the Dolphins gonna cut him as he suggested?

Besides it is well known that in most NFL contracts that the last 2 years of your contract are not guaranteed. That’s for all teams not just the Dolphins. So spare me that “the Dolphins have a history” nonsense. I live in Atlanta and I seen the Falcons do it. Seen the Saints do it. Seen the Panthers do it. Countless other teams. Just because the Dolphins are fresh on your memory with VanNoy doesn’t mean it isn’t the same elsewhere.

Nothing against X but the Dolphins showed him his respect by extending him before his expired and by making him the highest paid CB at the time too. This is not on the Dolphins.
