COURT DOCS & PROOF: T.I. Did Not Snitch to Get a Reduced Sentence in His 2007 Gun Case

Not on here to for TI. Just an ATL resident, and rapper, and coli breh just like yall. My own curiosity into all the snitching allegations, are what led me to investigate- and here's what I found:

• For anybody interested there is a lot of documents and READING involved here- but anyone who takes the time will see that TIP got snitched on, down to the details in his bedroom- and he basically cashed in all the "Chips" he had collected from good deeds and important people who REQUESTED a lighter sentence (like what Beanz asked JayZ to do)

Everyone knows the general story: TI had a buddy (Alfamega)


who was his general weed carrier/upcoming rapper & who TI would send sometimes to buy TIP guns. On one of those occasions, Alfamega went to cop guns in a parking lot but this time it was from an undercover ATF agent. Alfamega told on TIP, and he got hit with charges basically for possessing several guns, he was not allowed to own as a felon.

Here is where the snitching rumors came in: After a lengthy court proceeding, TI changed his plea to guilty and was sentenced to 1 year in Prison, suspended sentence, 1 year befoe his sentence to do charity/community work and 3 years of Supervised release.


1) The most important thing to know (especially my NY brehs)- There was no MANDATORY MINIMUM Sentence that is attached to his charges.

2) HE also had like 100 things (detailed below) he agreed to do in order to shorten his sentence

3) He had EVERY person of influence/power in Metro ATL & From the Entertainment Industry (from movies execs, preachers, movie stars,NAACP) vouch for him that he had turned his life around and that he had committed volunteer time to all of their documented organizations

4) He used the shooting of his friend Philant in Cincinnati as his defense to NEEDING GUNS as part of his plea

It was stated that if he failed to do any of these things (PSA, Community Service, rand om searches, etc) that his sentence would INSTANTLY go to MIN: 57 mos MAX: 97 months

Section C1 of the plea agreement (posted below the video) shows he literally agreed to promote respect for law and law enforcement (the infamous crimestopper ad)


but it also shows the court GENUINELY thought it could use TIP for good, instead of just throw the book at eem. Again this aint NY, where every DA & Prosecutor have dreams of being POTUS. Shyt woulda NEVERRRRR happened up there.

Here is the District Attorney signing off on the idea that TIP would do charity for SEVERAL organizations listed, who wrote letters on his behalf that he was helping the community (among them ATL NAACP, Journee Smollett (underground), Rev, Edwards, Bishop Eddie Long (before the scandal), etc...

TLDR: Basically TIP's only crime was POSSESSING weapons he was not allowed to have. No murder, shooting, or other charges.

He pleaded guilty, with the EXCUSE that he only bought those guns because he feared for his life after a friend was killed months earlier, on the road. Many people of influence wrote the court, and co-signed on TIP's plan to do PSA, Service, and lots of charity if the court would lighten his sentence.

The court gave TIP- 1 year to meet so many demands or he would have to do 57 to 97 months. Since he met all demands, he had to serve 1 year in custody with the rest of his sentence to be suspended with supervision for 3 years--He also had to surrender all the guns, and basically SIGN AWAY his constitutional right by saying he agreed to be stopped and searched, anywhere, or in any vehicle- even if not his own, at any random time by ATF/ or gov't officials.

There is only one unnamed defendant in ALL of the case paperwork- and that is person who snitched on TIP (down to the safe in his bedroom)- many ppl beleive that person was Alfamega.

There are plenty more documents, and evidence that is PUBLICLY available on this case- but I just posted the main parts that people never mention when calling him a snitch. He was just a classic case of : MONEY + GOOD LAWYERS = Special treatment. No different that Paris Hilton or any other celeb who got off light.

I never thought he was a snitch myself because when I would ask the most important question which is "Who did he snitch on?" I never got an answer.

TIP was arguably the most popular rapper at the moment and had the mayor of ATL show up at his "Welcome Home" party.

He was gonna skate regardless.

I've read the plea documents, there are a lot of sealed docs in his docket, which can have all forms of explanations....Of course there are mandatory minimums attached to his charges, there are for EVERY crime you can be charged with federally. What the AUSA did is drop most of the charges and have him plea to one. I am a TI fan, though I think that arrest derailed his career, (artistically, most importantly) besides 'Paper Trail', but I used to run around hustling grams to 'Trap Muzik', his music has a special place in my memories, so I hope he didn't cooperate, but this isn't entirely dismissive of that allegation. This has been out for years.

Bro i been arressted twice in the past 2 years cause of snitches. Cops dont even put that shyt in the pperwork anymore. My lawyer said the jusges let them hide it unless its 100 necessary. He says its been happening for a while and he cant do nothing about it.

Neither of my discoverys say who snitched. "A concerned citizen" or they bullshyt and say they witnessed simething that never happened. My discovery had them following me multiple county lines cause i didnt use a blinker in the town i live in. Na.

thank you- that was tha last piece of the puzzle-- he is the only name excluded and the only person who FOR SURE SNITCHED. I find it ironic that he is the one that started all the snitching rumors, but he told on TIP down to the fingerprint scanning safe in his closet that ONLY a "friend" of TIP's woulda known.

problem is nowhere in this document is "concerned citizen"listed. Basically you asking me to prove a negative. That he didnt snitch.

All Im saying is all the evidence shows that if there was nobody to snitch on, and he had all the same lawyers + plus money and fame- he was gonna get off light.

Also that person he told on WHO ARE THEY? i would be dying to tell the world my story if TI put me in jail. Who got snitched on?

Further more there is nobody for TIP to snitch on- no BIG FISH- he is the BIG FISH. ATF wasnt gonna find a more high value target than a rich TI, famous rapper in his prime. Add in that the guns were being sold by undercovers- and he didnt even have a gun plug to give up to them.

At this point I cant make nobody beleive anything, but will say those who call hima snitch the job is on YOU to post some proof. Because "I heard/i think" aint good enough to go against what I have posted here in the OP.
