Now is that because they got some highly advanced blu-ray drive that isn't capable of reading CD's or is sony doing its nickel and dime moves that its userbase always just overlooks since sony can do know wrong
They take away music, then they sell it to you. They will take away the games too, one way or the other. They'll kill you with kindness (free to play) while keeping you in blindness. This same model will be industry wide. Not console specific. There is more evidence of this on sony than there is on microsoft. But all the attention is on one side because of fanboys.
