how would you know, if the vaccine is less than a year old and the majority of the world isn't vaccinated? what data would you have to substantiate your claim and how would you support it against 18 months of face masks and social distancing from almost 100% of the modern world?

you can't. it's a mathematical impossibility. ask any mathematician or scientist.

None of this is more effective than taking the vaccine

It’s not about taking the vaccine it’s about looking at the options and choosing the best one for you. From there being at peace with your decision regardless of the outcome.

Many of these anti vaccine people aren’t doing that. They look at one side and see the worst case scenario ignore the other side and make a sort of half measure decision. Much of their logic involves hoping they fall through the cracks or that if they don’t that things go their way. They choose not to get vaccinated but at the same time if that choice leads them to COVID and a bad outcome they aren’t ok with that.

Sure the vaccine could have negative long term effects but COVID can also have negative long term effects. These things should be weighed against each other not just I don’t know what that vaccine will do so I reject it but the unknowns of COVID aren’t acknowledged or swept under the rug of I’ll probably be ok.

If I go to the casino and lose $50K I accepted that when I walked in the door as a possibility. I’d be at peace with that. I’m not gonna walk in there and lose that money then look back on it and wish I didn’t even go. Saying I’m at peace with what happens doesn’t mean I desire that outcome it just means I’m ok with it because that’s part of the gamble.

We got people out here gambling with their lives and not acknowledging they can lose that gamble until shyt goes south on them.

But anyway let's talk about the outbreak in Provincetown MA.

For most of the year the population is 3000 except for 1 week where it balloons up to 70,000 in July. Why is that? Well they have a gay pride event called bear week that brings in people from all over the country.

The 74% thing is a misnomer since they are only reporting on the Provincetown residents here (super fail on CNN for this)


Last I heard 5 people were hospitalized, 2 unvaxed, 2 vaxxed but immunocompromised, and 1 unlucky vaxxed person.

I think the mods just need to go ahead and boot this guy from this super thread. Kid is either dense as fukk or just a bad troll.
