Protesting
:dwillhuh:

Bro how did you quote me when I didn't post that

@blotter did the post

Somehow my name ended up being in your qouted post @protestor

Haha I had to think about this for a second.

I was trying to a multi quote, you and blotter. Changed my mind and deleted the wrong name in the quote brackets. Something like that.

I just noticed something...
:ohhh:

In other countries people protest against government inaction and not doing enough to provide a social safety net

In America people protest on BEHALF of the billionaire class who want to open the economy up against the advice of health experts

This is why this country is a long way from having a popular workers movement & uprising.

Half of the United States is either blinded by their own racism and/or has a myopic view of freedom and liberty. They rally against the tyranny of government but somehow over look the tryanny of corporate interests

This is EXACTLY how the founding fathers intended for the Constitution to work. Go back and read The Federalist Papers and check out the majority rule/minority rights argument. Allow the majority to rule while the minority (class-wise) to have their rights protected. Their money affords them access to more rights and property that needs to be protected. That’s why we are not a true democracy, but a democratic republic

Billionaires,corporations, government, politics, military, police - they're all in cahoots one way or another. Even without this coronavirus, it's always been the same, people get scraps while getting fukked.

You saw this in the Democrsric primary. They hate anything that disrupts billionaires

Some Dems absolutely despised Bernie Sanders. If you look at his policies, working for the labor movement, healthcare, middle and working class etc. Theres very little that would motivate such hatred toward him

But they had no problem with Bloomberg, billionaire rapist and racist . Nor the politicians he brought off .

Money talks
