It’s a lot to ask minimum wage store employees to enforce that shyt[/B]. Especially when these crazy people will spaz out because of a simple request. I’m noticing a lot of fast food spots shutting down their inside services and forcing everyone to the drive thru as a result. If the government/law enforcement isn’t enforcing it then the rule might as well not exist.

minimum wage or not, folks are much more apprehensive now and it’s not worth it.

ima manager/assistant director at a fairly large bank and I can tell you 60 percent come in without mask and the majority of them are actually vaccinated.

no lie this Gilf who would have my babies if she could, came into my office to chat (cuz she never has actual banking to do ) and asked me if she could remove her mask. I told her we’re asking everyone to keep them on, vaccinated or not but I wouldn’t kick her out if she didn’t. She aggressively yelled “ITS CUZ OF ALL THESE fukkIN a$$holeS WHO WONT GET VACCINATED “

this is a real convo we need to have, smh. how are y'all preparing for worst outcomes with friends, family, loved ones? i realized from jump how futile it'd be to try and sway those close to me towards getting vaccinated. but it's not like the Trump loving, science hating dumbasses getting awards in the HCA subreddit, these are people close to us with great qualities who typically have real concern and empathy for other folks...

Me and almost all of my close friends are vaxxed, only exception is one guy thats getting deeper and deeper into this whole conspiracy/anti-vaxx bs. Its like talking to a brick wall when you bring up rational arguments

Well the way I see it is... no matter what great qualities I originally thought they had, they're showing me who they really are in this pandemic. And if they're spouting QANON conspiracies, then they are anti science dumbasses.

I'm a firm believer that everything in the universe is set up to ensure that dumbasses won't be here for too much longer. I believe that God is sending a plague upon the land to get rid of ppl that He doesn't want on his earth anymore.

And if you are a person who rejects science, rejects truth... then what am I supposed to feel for you?

Man we have ppl in this world who are rejecting truth right now, truth that would save their lives. And that rejection of the truth is destroying them.

It doesn't get any more biblical than that. And if they could save themselves if they only accepted the truth, but chose not to... then I choose to be like whatever if something happens to them.

I felt that way about my aunt, uncle and older brother. I'm glad my aunt finally went and got the vaccine but I had thrown my hands up about all three of them.

My dumbass uncle was even sending me ignorant messages on FB when he found out I got vaxxed.

And then if something happens to him, I'm supposed to do what. Cry? Be sad?

Nope, if something happens, this ignorant nicca chose this path so thats on him. And I refuse to be sad.

I got my first shot today. I'm relieved that I finally got it done. In another thread I explained all the after effects after I got covid October 2020. It took me almost a year to fully recover and start feeling normal again. I was never Anti-vax because I've taken vaccines and flu shots before. I was skeptical though. But after doing my own research I made a decision that this was best for my family. My wife takes her second dose Friday.

My wife and I have relatives on both sides who buy into all of the conspiracy theories. It's disheartening. My wife went to a family gathering and a couple of her aunt's tried to make her feel bad for getting the vaccine. They were going down the list of conspiracies, and my wife said "site your sources" and they started pulling up youtube videos.

We respect everyone's decision to take/not take the vaccine.
