I always wear a mask everywhere I go on some Kakashi shyt. I go to the gym 6 times a week. I only see 4 people wearing a mask including me so the rest of the people don't wear the mask like we did back in time before the covid hit.

People will call everything "fear-mongering". Meanwhile those of us who had, or lost loved ones to Covid are just trying to sound the alarm.

I lost a good friend to it, he caught it, was intubated and never made it out. Don't even think it took two weeks.

What gets me when people call it "fear mongering" is that nobody ever said "go in a bunker and do the fetal position", they just said "be aware and be considerate of others because this shyt can go left VERY quickly." But somehow, people took basic common sense and politicized it. I don't know why grown fukking adults threw such a tantrum over wearing a cloth mask, washing your hands and keeping your distance, but I know I didn't catch a cold when I was doing everything right.

It was only when I went out to get coffee one day when things opened up more that I ended up catching it. And it kicked my ass. Not bad enough to scare me, but bad enough to know I was right to get vaccinated and not play around, because God forbid I went against better judgment, didn't get vaccinated and then caught it.

I was just gonna make the thread but I didn’t want to because neggas been talking mad and gonna say I’m fearmongering. This new variant is escaping vaccines. Apparently it’s coming from mutations of unvaccinated infections.

For the first time we saw a patient that needed to be intubated. The good thing is it’s not killing people but you can see they really struggling and need treatments for 1-2 weeks.

Glad I've pumped the brakes on drinking recently and haven't been going out like that unless it's a special occasion. Hoping that new booster drops before I go overseas here on vacation

Schools been back in session for a mere two weeks in my part of the country and the amount of open mouthed coughing and shoulder sleeve nose-blowing by kids AND adults I've witnessed is INSANE. You'd think it was Fall of 2018 with how careless and gross people are acting.

At the store the other day and this lil cacling was coughing non stop in line. Her mother grabbed hand sanitizer and then sent her out the store. I had my mask on but still. The amount of cacs I still see open mouth coughing in general, virus or not, is repulsive to me at this point.
