Back then we had teachers that actually gave a shyt about teaching about black people in history..

Crispus aside he was actually biracial. he was half naragansett with attucks being an anglicization of a a naragansett surname.

If he was a cac he would be revered as one of the great men of the American Revolution

But a las, his non-white/black skin relegates him to the footnotes.

It's just interesting how white people exclude contributions from black people in the founding of this country, yet are shocked at the behavior of people who's constantly left out of its history..

Fun Fact: The second POTUS John Adams defended the soldiers who participated in the Boston Massacre and got them off. He proclaimed the crowd provoked the soldiers because it was composed of "a motley rabble of saucy boys, negroes, and molattoes, Irish teagues and outlandish Jack Tarrs"
