I'm going need 18th century urban dictionary for
  • "saucy boys"?
  • 'Irish teagues"'?
  • "Jack Tarrs"?

:patrice:
“saucy boys” i assume means drunks, like sauced up.

teague means catholic (not a nice way of saying it)

Jack Tar (also Jacktar, Jack-tar or Tar) is a common English term originally used to refer to seamen of the Merchant or Royal Navy, particularly during the period of the British Empire.”

White people are to blame but black people deemphasized black Americans contributions to the defense of the nation in exchange for Pan African influence ideology that distances and'does not focus on black people being quintessential Americans.

Theres alot to be examined around him. Especially when you consider his role in the Boston Massacre, and then how the Sons of Liberty dressed up and executed the Boston Tea Party...it's very interesting. ...

That said:I dont trust much of the mythology and narratives around the American Revolution

There's a branch of the free public library near every every big city.

There is nothing stopping anybody from going in and borrowing a book about heroes from their culture.

Blame "pan Africanists", though. Every legit Pan Africanist studies and reveres Frederick Douglas and the contributions he made to advancing the rights of African Americans. That goes for Black people inside and outside of America.
This either/or scenario and plea copping only exists online.

@Get These Nets Pan African ideology by its very definition absolutlely failed in prioritizing and emphasizing black contributions in the American military through history.

Pan Africanism and Africanism prioritizes Africa first not black Americans military contributions.

A black child in elementary or Middle School with a single parent will just wonder inside a Public Library and find a book about Attucks. Yea ok 75% of black boys in California read below level.

Its a complex relationship for African Americans.

Fun Fact: The second POTUS John Adams defended the soldiers who participated in the Boston Massacre and got them off. He proclaimed the crowd provoked the soldiers because it was composed of "a motley rabble of saucy boys, negroes, and molattoes, Irish teagues and outlandish Jack Tarrs" :mjpls:
