Had to tag my crew on lsa. That said thats how u feel Jen. I think she is absolutely beautiful.i love her skin and her cheek bones and her smile. She is overall beautiful.

She ok at best but just like people sometimes say lightskin /white chicks get that bumb she getting that Tiger Woods rareness bump IMO. She one of the few darkskin chicks being talked about mainstream so people going extra hard to cape up for her when most black dudes wouldn't look at her twice in the streets.

And can we talk about how cacs and Hollywood trolled black people yet again? They gave her a pity Oscar and labeled her Most Beautiful and so many people thought that was a sign of 'progress'. And yet the only roles she can book center on her being either an animal, alien or mislabeled African.

I gotta agree. The most "beautiful women" label they placed her seemed calculating on their part.

People are low key revealing their own hang ups on race/skintone when they gas her up. It's like they were saying they are surprised that someone that dark isn't automatically ugly.

I feel this way cause she is my shade, growing up being casted aside for being my shade wasn't easy. So to see her winning, u damn sure know I'm for it. Not only is it cause she is a black woman, but she is brown skinned with short hair. Yay!

I don't think she's hot, but I do think she's attractive. She has symmetry, so I think it would be impossible for her to be considered ugly. However, I do think Hollywood likes women like Lupita, and Precious. Black women who don't challenge European beauty standards, or overshadowed white female actresses. But, for me, it's just her eyes that bother me. They're so yellow.
