Nas, Ghost and Rae all said that Wu gave him that moniker for the Cuban Linx mafioso theme. Just because a verse was released to the public first does not mean it was RECORDED first. And Infamous wasn't really mafioso rap. It was just hardcore, gritty, New York City projects rap.

that is true, but G Rap had 4,5 6, with FastLife which was mafioso...dropped around the same time Rae's joint dropped so who's to say his shyt wasn't recorded before Rae's?

it's not my favorite hip-hop album (thats between Reasonable Doubt, Illmatic & The Infamous) but i would call it the best hip-hop album of all time.
in the same way that i think The Godfather is best film of all time but Goodfellas is my favorite.
i only go back and watch the Godfather about once a year..Goodfellas i can watch anytime, if it's on tv i could watch it from any part onwards.
i can;t do that with The Godfather, i like to watch the whole thing.
OB4CL i go back to it about 3/4 times a year maybe more.
not as much as i go back to the other 3 mentioned but when i do listen to it i come away thinking its the best.
if you get my drift.
