it didn't happen. moss was there in 2004. i think what they are partially remembering is that 2004 was moss' WORSE season and daunte's best. so if moss was carrying him that wouldn't have happened.

Moss was injured the whole season and still was commanding the double team. I believed it was hamstring issue.

Nicca?

No you just didnt??

OK the stats speak for themself:

Targeted:
Moss - 1742 TO - 1706
Receptions: Moss - 982 TO - 1078
Total Rec Yards: Moss - 15292 TO - 15934
TD: Moss - 156 TO - 153
Career Yards Per Game Avg: Moss - 70.1 TO - 72.8
Receptions Per Game Avg: Moss - 4.5 TO - 4.9

Its funny you say that, its crazy to think that Moss had more passes thrown toward him but yet has less receptions than TO. I mean lets do the math 1742-982= 760 incompletions.

I do know Moss was a better run blocker than Moss

Pretty sure more defensive attention was focused on Moss...the mere fact they implemented the cover 2 because of him speaks volumes.

He always had at least two db's on him:ld:

Not sure how it's a debate. Only 3 of these players were great in their own right and Culpepper was not one of them. It's McNabb and TO easily. It's really hard to fukk with a QB and WR that are that good and that in sync. McNabb and Moss would have been next level though. Every time I would see McNabb and Moss on FS1 together I would always think "If only :mjcry:".

Daunte was on his way to being elite before he got hurt

He also had Chris Carter with him and at one point a little of Robert Smith if I recall. And people tend to sleep on it forget how good Smith was as a RB

:dahell: He had twice as many picks as touchdowns before the injury. And it's not like the injury was career ending. He came back and was a journeymen at 30. No way can you compare him to either of the other 3.

He put up 4,700 yards and 39 TD's the year before his injury in 05. Plus he had a great 2003 season before that

He was a 3x Pro Bowler and 2x All Pro and been to a NFC title game before he got hurt. He was well on his way to being elite. He had his ups and downs like any QB but he was definitely heading towards elite

It took damn near 10 years before we finally found a suitable replacement for Pep

Not career ending? C'mon dude he tore every damn ligament in his knee, you can come back but you not gonna be the same.

Notice how everything you mentioned occurred with Moss on the squad? :ld: I am not saying dude never played well or put up numbers. I am saying that he never established himself as a great player in his own right without the most dynamic WR ever on his squad. You straight up ignored the way that he struggled after Moss left before the injury. He went right into the toilet and there was nothing suitable about it. Did you miss the years before Culpepper became starter when ya'll were getting :flabbynsick: ass nikkas off the scrap heap and they were coming right in and putting up numbers?

He never got a chance too :dwillhuh:

He played only 7 games post Randy before he got hurt and they let him go at the end of the season when they cleaned house after the Love Boat shyt

shyt the entire team struggled not just Culpepper, they traded Moss and drafted bum ass Troy Williamson. Of course there was issues early in the season

nikka never got a full healthy season to build upon 2004

Our best receivers were Travis Taylor and Marcus Robinson :dame:

Vikings were traditonally stable at QB when Daunte finally became starter :stopitslime:

They had Warren Moon for a while, who gave way to Brad Johnson, then to Randall and Daunte was drafted as his successor. That stability ended once he got injured.

It wasnt until Daunte got hurt and they released him that we started going through the cycle of scrub QB's before we got Teddy.

And please show me where any of them dudes outside of Favre in 09 were putting up numbers :usure:

He went to Miami and got rushed back on the field and was a shell of himself then. If he could've stayed in Minnesota and got healthy his career would've ended much better.

Regardless of why he didn't establish himself as great in his own right, he didn't and that's all I am talking about here. All the other shyt with QBs that I mentioned was all about Moss and his impact. If you had a young Moss the last 10 years then your QB situation would have looked better.
