The free tution program is already offered to anyone with a household income under $125,000, so you can chill with the faux outrage.

What they offer is enough for community college, that shyt doesn't cover university cost. You have to get a job and do school. Possible yeah but unfair if others have a free ride and don't have to pay shyt.

I'm here thinking it's FAFSA, my bro and sister went to and finished college. They had to work and take out loans to cover the costs.

Fafsa still exist. You still have to apply for fafsa first. And whatever fafsa doesn’t cover, the excelsior will cover the rest of it.

A lot of stupid posts in here. Cuomo is attempting to extend a program that's been in place since last year. Last year, the NY state Congress approved his plan to make college free for households making under $125,000 as long as they go to a SUNY (State University of New York) school. Now he wants to extend that same program to Dreamers. I don't see it passing the state Congress but it would make Cuomo look like gold if it passed on a miracle.
